How I Used Content Marketing to Increase Brand Awareness and Boost Product Usage

Upon my arrival at Anedot, I successfully developed and implemented the organization’s first content marketing strategy. By building and executing this content marketing strategy, I was able to help the organization grow and reach new audiences organically. I led an in-house team of content creators to build a new blog, write weekly blog posts, and develop graphics and video for social. In addition to the blog and social media content, I also launched three email newsletters focused on customer success, product updates, and monthly blog wrap-ups.

Under my leadership, the marketing team had its most successful year across all social media platforms as measured by total output (1,100+ graphics and videos created), total engagement, and follower growth (172% increase).

The holistic strategy that I developed and implemented boosted product usage among current customers and increased brand awareness across four key target industries. Through the content strategy process, our SEO significantly improved. We gained hundreds of backlinks and ranked in top ten results for dozens of vital keywords and phrases.
